Facilitator Training

Successful teams require successful leadership. Maximizing the potential of a team means tapping and cultivating the full potential of each team member. Effective facilitation enhances leadership in the boardroom, on the factory floor, and in the experiential classroom.

Our Facilitator Training uses the Synergo Experiential Learning Wave as the theoretical background to successful facilitation. We examine in-depth the importance of processing and generalizing as methods to encourage participants to apply the results of experiential learning and make a real impact on their performance and lives.

Most importantly, we practice facilitation. Effective facilitation is best learned by doing. Using techniques discussed in the first part of the training, we engage one another in activities, practicing facilitation skills and critiquing our style and approach. Dipping into our bag of tricks, we share resources and provide specific activities that address individual needs or issues relevant to the facilitator's own workplace. Specific goals for facilitator trainings may include trust building, team development and management, communication, problem solving, increasing productivity, and conflict resolution. In addition we offer facilitator trainings designed specifically toward facilitating the use of high and low rope challenge courses.
