Challenge Courses
Rope challenge courses are an important tool for teaching and facilitating in this age of synergy, team building, experiential learning, and self-development. Challenge courses are composed of a variety of different elements that fit into three general categories
Challenge courses are used during orientations, team building programs, school programs and curricula, and trust building workshops, to name a few. The activities challenge individual and group expectations and boundaries, and set the stage to explore the issues surrounding them. Challenge courses can be built either indoors or outdoors. Many different elements are portable to accommodate the group who is continuously on the go. SYNERGO staff has been building challenge courses nationwide since 1982, and we offer a wide range of services to fit your needs.

Design: Whether you are looking specifically for teams elements, elements for a younger population, an indoor course, or elements that can used by people with physical or mental challenges, we can help you to design a course that will meet your needs.
Construction: Synergo provides a quality building team with state of the art equipment for building your course or assisting you and your staff to construct your own course.
Portable Equipment: Because not everyone has the resources or the need for an entire challenge course, Synergo staff has developed a wide range of portable equipment and programs and can assist you in implementing them.
Safety: As always, safety is our number one priority. We can work with you to ensure that your existing course is safe and meets the Association for Challenge Course Technology standards. We can also offer input to ensure safe programming and use of challenge courses in your program.
Facilitator Training: Challenge courses are not much help without qualified facilitators. We provide various levels of training workshops for program staff throughout the year, or we can customize a training for you and your site.
Program Designs: Whatever your agency's goals, effective programming is instrumental to maximizing the potential of your challenge course and teams. We can work with you to ensure that you are optimizing your challenge course and related activities.
Programming: We own and operate our own challenge course which we can use to help implement your team building, trust building, group dynamics, and challenge programs. SYNERGO offers the skills of numerous facilitators to meet the wide range of needs of different organizations.
